PFLAG’s network of hundreds of chapters and more than 325,000 members and supporters works to create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.


With the aim of advancing the common good, the Mitchell-West Center for Social Inclusion at the University of North Alabama will support education, research, community, and advocacy by working with diverse groups on campus, in the Shoals, and across the state and region.

The core of Southeastern Diversity Project's efforts is bringing  community members together through education, acceptance, and advocacy programs. Our social  gatherings, outreach programs, and fundraisers are all-inclusive events that focus on finding common ground. 


AFSP is dedicated to working with diverse communities and organizations to ensure culturally relevant mental health resources are equitably available.


The Alabama Coalition for Immigrant Justice is a grassroots, statewide network of individuals and organizations that works to advance and defend the rights of immigrants in Alabama.
